Take these steps to become a Chillers® franchisee.
___________________________________________________________________
STEP 1. Apply for a Franchise
Fill out the Application Form.
STEP 2. Application Review and Phone Interview
Your completed application will be reviewed. A franchise representative will contact you by phone to discuss preliminary questions, your plans, and review the possibility of a potential business opportunity. Selected applicants will be invited to interview in person with us to discuss potential opportunities.
STEP 3. First Personal Interview
At this meeting, you will learn about our franchise system and the assistance we offer. Such assistance includes; site selection, training, hiring, construction, operation management, live support, marketing, etc. We will discuss your responsibilities to the franchise system as well.
STEP 4. In restaurant experience
We will then arrange an “in restaurant” evaluation. You will spend 2 days in one of our restaurants, where you will be introduced to a fast paced, customer orientated working environment.
After the in restaurant experience, you may receive the following, if there is mutual interest in moving forward.
- Chillers® Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
- Chillers® Franchise Agreement
The FDD contains important information to help you analyze our franchise system. You will need to sign and return the FDD receipt. Take some time to review the FDD and Chillers® System. We recommend you consult attorney or a business advisor.
STEP 5. Enter into a franchise agreement
If there remains mutual interest in moving forward, and you have received our franchise agreement and waited at least 14 calendar days, you will then be able to sign and pay the $20,000 franchisee fee. Congratulations, after the franchise agreement has been signed, you are now an official Chillers® Franchisee!
STEP 6. Site Selection, financing secured, lease review
We will begin to assist you in site selection and secure financing if needed. We will then
review and approve your lease.
STEP 7. Training
You and/or your operating partner/managers will come to a Chillers® restaurant of our choice to train and learn about all the operations involved
in running a Chillers® unit. Our program includes classroom training and on the job
training for up to 8 weeks, depending on your prior experience.
STEP 8. Build-out Your Store
We will assist you with initial design, layout, construction, purchasing and
installation of equipment.
STEP 9. Grand Opening
Once your Chillers® Ice Cream build-out is completed and you have successfully completed
the then current training program you will prepare for your grand opening! Chillers
representative/s will be there to assist the week you go live.
STEP 10. Hard Work
Work harder than you ever have in your life! |
